General Care
Important Notice On CDCP
We are happy to welcome all patients that are covered under the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) aims to help Canadians without dental insurance to access oral health care services by easing financial barriers. The program is specifically aimed at people with annual household income under $90,000 who don’t have access to private insurance.
Dental Services Covered
The CDCP will help cover the cost of various oral health care services that keep your teeth and gums healthy and treat problems that can arise. Please note some services require Pre-authorization.
For more information and to apply, visit www.canada.ca/dental
Eligibility and Enrolment
- To qualify for the CDCP, you must meet certain criteria outlined on the Government website. Please note:
- You MUST be enrolled in the Canada Dental Plan and your enrollment verified BEFORE treatment
- is done in order to benefit from the CDCP coverage of dental fees. It is your responsibility to ensure
- you are enrolled and to provide that information to us before your appointment. Failure on your part
- to do so does not absolve you of responsibility for payment of any services rendered by our office.
- The Canada Dental Care Plan coverage runs from July 1 to June 30 (12 months). You MUST re-apply every year to ensure eligibility. It is NOT like a normal plan that continues year after year.

CDCP Coverage & Fees
Please note an important aspect regarding your plan, the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), and how it relates to your dental treatment costs:
- This is NOT a free dental program; depending on their adjusted family net income, patients may have to make a co-payment of up to 60%. They may also have to pay costs the CDCP does not cover
- Your plan uses the CDCP Fee Guide when assessing your coverage for dental procedures
- The fees in the CDCP Fee Guide are LOWER than the current fees that all dentists charge which are based on the Ontario Dental Association Fee Guide (ODA Fee Guide)
- As a result, you will be responsible to pay for the difference (balance) between the CDCP fee-based coverage and the regular dental fees AT THE TIME OF TREATMENT.
For example, while you may be eligible for 100% coverage under the CDCP, this coverage applies only to fees from the CDCP Fee Guide which are LOWER than the regular dental fees in Ontario. You will have to pay the difference between your coverage and the actual dental fees at the time of the appointment.
Please contact us if you have further questions about CDCP and to book appointments
General Dentistry
Maintaining a healthy smile starts with a solid foundation of general dentistry. Our team provides care for every stage of life, from your child’s first dental visit to ongoing support in adulthood. Whether it’s a routine cleaning or a complex restoration, we focus on delivering personalized, evidence-based treatment with a gentle touch.
We prioritize prevention and education, helping you understand your oral health and make confident decisions about your care. Regular checkups, digital imaging, and customized treatment planning all contribute to long-term results you can count on. We don’t just treat problems — we help prevent them from developing in the first place.
With modern tools and a collaborative approach, our general dental services are designed to be efficient, thorough, and tailored to your unique needs. It’s dentistry that fits your life and supports your overall well-being.
Preventive Care
Prevention is one of the most effective ways to protect your smile and reduce the need for future treatments. Regular exams and cleanings allow us to catch concerns early, whether it’s a small cavity, signs of gum inflammation, or wear caused by teeth grinding. These visits are also a chance to update your oral health routine and ask any questions you may have.
Services like fluoride treatments, sealants, and digital X-rays help us support your dental health with precision and care. We also provide practical guidance on brushing and flossing, ensuring that your at-home routine works as hard as we do.
Our goal is to partner with you for lifelong dental health. When prevention is prioritized, you save time, avoid discomfort, and enjoy peace of mind knowing your smile is in great shape.
Gum Disease Treatment
Healthy gums are the foundation of a healthy smile. Gum disease (also called periodontal disease) is a common condition that can lead to tooth loss and affect your overall health if left untreated. That’s why early detection and timely care are so important.
We start with a thorough evaluation of your gum health, including measuring pocket depths and checking for inflammation or bleeding. Treatments may include deep cleanings (scaling and root planing), and for more advanced cases, we work closely with periodontal specialists to ensure you receive the right level of care.
Education plays a key role throughout the process. We help you understand the condition, how to manage it, and how to maintain strong, healthy gums through consistent hygiene habits at home.
Family Dentistry
Your family’s smiles are in good hands here. We welcome patients of all ages and tailor care to meet the unique needs of each individual — from toddlers visiting for the first time to grandparents maintaining their oral health.
For young patients, we focus on making visits fun and stress-free while reinforcing good habits that last a lifetime. Adults benefit from preventive and restorative care that supports long-term health, and older adults receive attentive care that respects the changes that come with age.
Having everyone treated in one place means greater convenience, consistency, and a stronger connection with your dental team. We’re here for your family through every stage of life.
Regular Hygiene Appointments
Routine hygiene visits are about more than just keeping your teeth clean — they’re essential to your overall oral and systemic health. Our hygienists provide gentle, thorough cleanings that remove plaque and tartar, while also monitoring for early signs of gum disease, decay, or other concerns.
During these visits, we take the time to educate and empower you with tips tailored to your lifestyle, habits, and needs. From brushing and flossing techniques to product recommendations, we want you to feel confident in your home care routine.
Regular hygiene appointments not only keep your smile looking its best, but they also reduce the need for complex dental work in the future. Prevention is the easiest path to lasting oral health.
